Have you ever wanted to plant a fruit tree but don't want it to shade out your yard ?  Or maybe you love Ginseng trees but aren't sure if you will stay in same spot for more than a few years?  The Magic Box is our model we designed for trees and shrubs.  Plants roughly balance the size of their root systems with the size of the visible foliage above soil.  Because the Magic Box inherently limits the size of the root system, it will balance it's total height on top.  That means easier access for you to pick off fresh fruit and more garden diversity because you know the tree won't block all the sunlight. Because the Magic Box can be moved with a dolly or pallet jack, it can be brought with you to new locations.  Due to the closed system nature of the Magic Box, you can easily put gorgeous Dogwoods or Georgia Peach trees on pavement, patios or courtyards.  Four Magic Boxes can even be considered a mini-orchard!

Each Magic Box comes with an edible or ornamental tree of your choice with a 'guild' planting system.  This means a few smaller, perennial species are chosen for symbiotic interactions, are planted around the base of the tree and aid in attracting pollinators, fending off plant pathogens and providing natural mulch.  Many tree roots do not do well when exposed to water constantly, so this model may or may not need irrigation hookups depending on the tree you choose.  Rain alone will serve the majority of many trees' watering requirements, and for those models an automated text to water the tree will be sent to you based on your location for occasional long, dry spells.
